We have recently implemented a new age verification system to help us ensure avoid selling to minors. This system, VERATAD, automatically does a brief background check on the consumer to use the data they provide, such as name, address, email and credit card, to verify the consumers age.
Sometimes the information provided is not enough or does not match records on file and further verification is needed. A copy of the customers I.D. is necessary to verify your information and age. Once this initial verification is approved, the customer will be added to the system and “white listed” so they will not have to repeat this procedure in the future.
