What Is Route?
Route is a shipping insurance service that protects your package throughout the shipping and delivery process as well as allows you to track the status of your package. Route provides coverage for your package(s) in the unfortunate event that they are lost, damaged, or stolen.
How Can I Use Route?
Route can be downloaded as a mobile app so that you can track your order at any time using your mobile device. There is no need to use tracking numbers from your email because Route keeps all of these tracking numbers in the app. With the Route app, you can see real-time shipping updates for your package to track the entire shipping and delivery process. The Route app is available for a free download on the Apple and Android app stores.
Do I Have to Pay for Route?
As an added benefit, we are including Route coverage automatically on every order you place with us at no additional cost. You cannot remove Route from your cart yourself.
What Happens If My Package Is Lost, Damaged, Or Stolen?
In the event of any of these issues occurring, you can file a claim with Route’s team directly here. If you need assistance with filing a claim, check out this YouTube instructional video and step-by-step guide.
PLEASE NOTE: If you file a claim and you choose to have your order refunded, Route covers the subtotal of the order. Shipping costs, taxes, and the cost of Route’s service are not included. If you choose to have your order replaced, Route covers the subtotal of the order, the Route premium, shipping costs, and taxes. Route does not pay custom/duty fees.
